Default tony\'s links

I moved tony's post and replies here. I'll leave it up to Ed to decide.

I saw nothing wrong with Tony's links. All three links are to letters/posts which Elaine put on the internet herself.

What disturbs me, is how he would have found them?

Google is an amazing tool.

Elaine's "Listmania! on Amazon.com

Elaine's Ezine articles

Elaine Vigneault.com (This seems like a good source of information)

All you have to do is put "Elaine Vigneault" into Google to find these.

Here are my thoughts on that particular thread:
The info Tony provided wasn't private. I don't have a huge problem that he posted it. I'm not embarrassed by it or anything.

But the tone of Tony's post (eg. "I hate you. I hate you. I hate you.") coupled with the in-depth discovery (he didn't get all those links with a simple Google search, he did more) made it feel threatening. For that reason, I am abstaining from posting in that thread again. I honestly fear (albeit, a very modest fear) for my own safety. I'll put it this way: If I know Tony will be at a 2+2 event, I sure as hell won't be there.

You can share my response ^here^ with the mod forum, if you wish.

Thanks,
Elaine

I guess i acted too soon. On the other hand, it is Ed's wife. I'm willing to give out special treatment in some cases, requested or not.

Those replies were in the thread. How did you move them here without moving the rest of the thread? Is moving just part of a thread something we have the power to do?

Elaine is just wrong about how Tony got the information. There is a massive amount of information easily available about her.

On my Google search, Elaine's Letter to the Editor comes up 4th. The Urban Dictionary entry comes up 12th. Her indiebride profile (but not hte specific post) comes up 27th.

The fact that the last link comes up 27th means that there are lots of other soures out there including www.elainevigneault.com, an article on PBS.com, and an ifeminist.net link which includes an audio link.

Tell Elaine to do a search on herself. She'll be suprised.

I think some of the problem here, atleast for me, is that Elaine tends to overreacts often, tends to make a big deal about minor things seemingly for the sake of causing trouble, and really tends to intentially be a complete pain the ass in OOT that its hard to take her seriously.

Because of this its hard me to know if I think the post is ok because of all the reasons already mentioned or if I think its ok because its happened to Elaine because of the above.

Wow, a feminist thinking she was wronged, how surprising.
