A rough start
Lets see... I started reading 2p2 about 3 months ago, and feel I have a good grasp of what it takes to beat a microstakes NLHE game. I finally downloaded pokerstars and fulltilt about 2 weeks ago and I started playing the freerolls there, about 3 or 4 per day. OMG! for 2+ weeks I did not cash in any of them once. So my BR is still 0, and this really sucks because I want to become good at this, but I need motivation (the money) and better players to play against, and first I need to win (at least cash) one of these retarded tournaments. On the pokerstars freerolls, I never do good there because of suckouts and "wtf was villain thinking" coolers. And I finished 40th in the FT freerolls about 5 times.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else who was enthusiastic about grinding up through the limits had a rough start like I am. Can you give some advice? |

Re: A rough start
You should consider depositing money, and then playing with that. Especially at micro limits, you will make money by playing good cards. I would also play cash instead of tournaments if I were you, since investing large amounts of time focusing on 1 table would make me very bored.
