Default Commerce - non-HE games? Current info...

Did a search already, so just looking for current info.

Will be @ Commerce next few weeks for the Heavenly Hold'em events and wondering about middle limit (20/40 to 50/100) mixed games during WEEKDAYS and weekday nights.

Also, how do the 20/40 vs. 40/80 holdem games compare? I usually play at CAZ and the 40 game is better (although 20 is still a great game.) Is there a time pot in the 40 game?

Based on what I've read, the 5/10 NL game isn't really worthwhile.

I am here now and staying @ Crowne Plaze connected to the Commerce. 20/40 game is very soft. You expect to see 2-3 chasers call you down with any pairs and sometimes river coz they put every raiser on high cards . I will be playing the Heavenly tournaments too, that's the only reason why I am still here. NL 5/10 is a joke here

Thanks! Sounds just like home (Casino AZ). Do you have a structure sheet for the tourneys?

I have heard the rounds are either 30 or 40 min - keep getting different answers from different Commerce staff...

I don't think the sheet is available atm. I don't even know whether this tourney is worth of playing or not to be honest

LOL - yep, I have that feeling!

But, I've been wanting to get out to Commerce for a while and it's a good enough reason to go. I couldn't make it for the LAPC so this is the next best thing.

I am perfectly happy to play cash games if the tourney structure doesn't look decent.

I will play the first one and see how it goes. The cash game here is pretty soft. If you can afford, sit in the biggest NL game possible. I have been hearing about crazy players all the time
