I was a big comic fan boy a few years ago and have a lot of John Byrne's work. Every one else was taken by the detailed intricate line work of Jim Lee or Todd McFarlane but I was looking back ten years to the smooth lines and elegant curves of Byrne who managed to convey a lot of dynamism and drama with an economy of line that I found commendable.
