Default Bad bluff by villan???

So I've been playing pretty tight aggro and these are the villans stats: 16.2/2.7 over 32 hands so no real reads. This is how the hand went down.

Full Tilt Poker, $0.25/$0.50 Limit Hold'em Cash Game, 8 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

Pre-Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (MP2)
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls, Hero raises, 4 folds, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls

Flop: (7.4 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 Players)
UTG+1 checks, MP1 checks, Hero bets, UTG+1 calls, MP1 folds

Turn: (4.7 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
UTG+1 checks, Hero bets, UTG+1 calls

River: (6.7 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
UTG+1 bets, Hero folds

Results: 6.7 BB Pot (0.3 BB Rake)
UTG+1 mucked and WON 6.4 BB (+3.9 BB NET)

Now by just how the hand went down I thought about calling down with A high on the river cause it just looked like a and bluff. Should I of called?? Any suggestions on how else to play the hand would be appreciated.

thanks

If only UTG+1 had checked river, you could've checked behind UI, which would've been standard. But she springs into life on the river. Stats indicate a conservative player, doesn't look like a bluff to me, hero has nada, easy fold.

What makes this bet look like a bluff?

Posting blind: most bluffs at micro tables are bad.

Having read your thread: if he was bluffing without a better read on you than you had on him, then it was a bad bluff. He looks like a pretty nitty player, tho, so I'm guessing he either had a read on you or a hand.

Bad bluff by villan???

No, obviously

Seriousy villain looks TP, so the fold is ok. Differnt reads and this is a clear call given the draw heavy flop.

I really doubt you had the best hand here..

Why do you think it was a bluff? COuld of easily been something like 9Ts or AT or JJ or well, whatever..

FTR are all dry, dry, dry. If villain has you on wiffed overs she expects you to check behind on the river; any decent hand (top pair/two pair/slow played sets) will bet out here, as well as some bluffs.

Your only play here is to re-raise as a bigger bluff (yes I DO have aces, tyvm) and hope to buy a fold, but I think that is a waste.

You have A hi, you don't have a decent hand, you played perfect up to here, don't be a fool by paying her off.

Looks like you got WA/WB'd, which means he had something, probably 88 or something with diamonds that caught a peice. Easy fold.
