50NL 2pr on turn, weird villain line
From memory, Full Tilt 50NL
UTG limps, I limp button 97s for giggles (short session). $50 effective stacks. SB min raises, BB calls, UTG calls, I call. pot about $4 Flop K72 rainbow. Checks around to me, I bet $3. SB calls, UTG calls. I'm basically done UI. Turn 9, completes rainbow. $13 in pot. SB PSB, UTG folds. I tank for about 5 seconds and call. SB goes all in, $30 or so into $40 pot on blank river. Am I going to see a stupid AA as often as a set or higher 2pr (K9s or something) to call this? Sets are unlikely considering my cards. What villain plays KK like this? I was only a round into the table, so no real reads. Thanks |

Re: 50NL 2pr on turn, weird villain line
I'd probably raise pf, but you said it wasn't important so whatever.
Is pushing the turn a viable option? I don't want to give AK or whatever a chance to outdraw there by just calling. As played I think the river is a call. Villain only needs to have AA/AK/worse 30% of the time for it to be +EV. |

Re: 50NL 2pr on turn, weird villain line
First, you SHOULD be limping 97s on the button. Keep doing that. Hell, I even raise it sometimes, but I'm a lagtard.
That minraise from the SB is like a red donk alert to me. I think he has AA, AK, KQ waay more often than he has KK or K9. I think you can make a case for folding, but I'm probably looking him up. |

I would press call. Quickly.
