Default common but tough spot.. is this a cooler or did I overplay this?

New player - no reads. No i can't really see him calling my shove with AT or AJ but typically his opening range is going to be pretty wide here... i think? If this was a bad jam then what hands should we be shoving? 99+? All comments appreciated, I seem to be getting into these kind of ugly spots alot with AQ-type hands.

generally a cooler will be a situation where there's only a very small number of hands that beat your very strong hand and your opponent happens to have one. PF there aren't really coolers, I guess people might consider KK<AA a PF cooler though. cooler example: you have 99 on board of 977108 and your opponent has 1010.

AQ is a big trouble hand, be careful not to overplay it. AK is a big part of his shoving range.

First off, stop being results oriented.. I feel a shove is too extreme w/ 21 BBs here..a fold seems weak but AQo oop against a raiser in EP is crappy..I may dump it against unknown because how strong are you going to feel when an ace flops? Plus you're not getting much out of a player holding KK QQ JJ on an A high flop..

Well, what I really wanna know is if this shove is a profitable play or not. Like I said AT and AJ I think are generally gonna find folds so I'm only gonna get called by pairs and AK (?). There was 1200 roughly in the pot and I shoved in 5000.. worth it?

Overplayed. A call OOP isn't bad here. I think you have enough chips to pick a better spot.

Call >> Fold >>>> Shove?

How are we playing this vs a CO or BTN raiser?

i think a non-shove committing reraise is always better than a shove here over an LP raiser.

I like a call here. Pushing isn't a good idea in this spot imo.
