there's often just nothing you can do about it, no matter how hard you try.

Obviously i am just messing around. I dont think anyone folding that river in the whole world unless it is about zillion dollars. Better luck next time.

This is a bad beat. Only other way I can think of playing this is betting the flop after he checked and obv folding to a raise. His check means weakness or strength and you would find that out by betting. Only hand you are ahead of here after all the action pf is QQ so honestly with a RR on flop I drop this in a heartbeat with that scary board.
