a river c/r bluff and another hand
villain is 26/21 in 225 hands. i hadn't seen him before today but he is playing a bunch of tables and seems reasonable. i haven't seen him too out of line and i doubt he has seen me. we haven't clashed too much and i have similar pf stats.
hand 1: Poker Stars, $5/$10 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players LegoPoker Hand History Converter UTG: $300 MP: $419 CO: $185 BTN: $75 Hero (SB): $1,215 BB: $2,868.25 Pre-Flop: J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (SB) 4 folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $40</font>, BB calls $30 Flop: ($80) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">Hero bets $60</font>, BB calls $60 Turn: ($200) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, <font color="red">BB bets $140</font>, Hero calls $140 River: ($480) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, <font color="red">BB bets $325</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $975 and is All-In</font>, result in white: <font color="white"> villain calls with T9o </font> hand 2: about 25 minutes later. nothing crazy or interesting has happened since. Re: a river c/r bluff and another hand
ok, lots of hate for #2. looking back at it again i guess you're right. my thinking at the time was that villain can't be vbetting worse very often at all, and his only bluffing hands would be total air on the flop or something like 55 that has SD value but he's deciding to turn into a bluff for whatever reason.
and my hand looks a lot like 9x or TT+, so it'd be a dubious spot to try to bluff me out. in retrospect, i guess there are too few better hands that villain can have and he might wake up and try to bluff something. so new question for river of hand 2: c/c or bet? i can look like a missed draw and will probably get looked up by 9x and maybe worse. also, can i get some comments for #1? |
