$6.5: HU, felt horrible, but maybe still correct?
PokerStars Tournament, Big Blind is t200 (2 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com
Button (t11905) Hero (t1595) Preflop: Hero is in BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Button raises to t600, Hero raises to t1595 (All-in) After looking at it, this is a really and suicidal push, but when I think about it, my stack sucks so much and it's HU, I'm gonna have no chance in another hand or two, so is this the best I can do? I almost have no FE, as you can see. I think that's what I was thinking when I made this push. |

Re: $6.5: HU, felt horrible, but maybe still correct?
You're posting some good hands. This one is absolutely right on the border. So, I think it's all about your read. If the opponent is average, or slightly tighter, I might fold. As long as you remember that most players tend to loosen up more heads-up than in blind battles (as they should, with position). Of course, position with your stack is moot, but I doubt the button knows this.
If he's been even slightly more active than normal, it's off to the races. |

I don't like it just beacuse K2o is beating you here. I hate pushig QJo after a raise...I'md push this just not after a raise

Re: $6.5: HU, felt horrible, but maybe still correct?
I think there are two (and only two) options here:
1) Shoving pre-flop. 2) Stop and go. I honestly don't know how anyone can advocate a fold here. |

I'd stop and go this. At the $6's you'll see people fold A-high to a stop and go.

[/ QUOTE ] No way I'm trying a stop-n-go here. Shove PF. Villian could easily be raising with a MUCH wider range than this. You're stack is too short, and you've got SOMETHING. Push. You'll get called. Maybe you'll get lucky and villian will have something like middle connectors. You very likely have live card(s) here. |
