Default Need to cook a filet on a George Forman grill....suggestions?

It is currently 5pm, I have 2 ~3.5oz filet mignons that I need to grill in the next 2 hours. I only have common american household spices/cooking supplies. Any suggestions for the best way to do this on a large sized George Forman grill?

This isn't the kind of thing I'd use a Foreman for. I'd imagine they are thick enough that you're not going to be very pleased with the results you get that way. I would probably heat up some olive oil in a pan, rub a little salt and pepper on them, toss 'em in the pan for a couple of minutes to get a little bit of a crust on them and then toss them in the oven for a few minutes. But there are others who are likely to give you better advice.

S,

Salt, pepper, maybe a little garlic. Put it on high, grill for about 4 minutes, done.

coat them with oil (not olive oil)...something like vegetable or canola oil.
salt and pepper
cook less than 5 minutes, depending on desired doneness.

For optimal results, do it over the stove.

Do you have an oven with a broiler? Why would you use a Foreman grill for this?

People still use salt and pepper? I guess you can do that if you want to cook a sub-par stake.

However, I recommend:

If you have an actual good piece of meat it's best as unadorned as possible. Salt and pepper is perfect for a filet, imo.
