Default Can mods change a location field?

Is it possible for me to edit a user's location field to remove a URL?

Yes, you can, if you go to edit user. You can even, uh, um, change someone's default page view scheme.

Just wait until the '%' mod gets a hold of this information.

Yeah, you can.

In most cases I'll just send the poster a PM, requesting that he or she change the problem location or avatar. Most will do it right away. But if the person refuses or doesn't respond to the PM (both rare), I change it myself.

This is just how I do things. If mods would rather edit out the problem location and send the poster a PM about why it was changed, that would probably be fine. I only do the whole 'request' thing to seem less harsh.

Thanks, Cola. I see you already discovered him and took care of it for me.

I see the location field now under Edit User. Don't know why I couldn't find it last night.

I agree with the PM idea in general but as you no doubt noticed I also suspended him for promoting his affiliate site.
