.....
Or, clean the ones you have? Eh? What kind of chips are they? You can just take a hot damp cloth to basically any kind of chip and get all the stuff off, but with clay chips its important you dry right away, from what I've heard...Gotta go 1 by 1 though. |

Dirty, dirty chips! The only way to punish them is with a spanking.

Re: DIRTY CHIPS!!! how to clean?
If you are talking, the ones you buy in bulk online, run them in a dishwasher. Seriously. Line the top tray with cheesecloth or another screen material and lay them in. Use any regular dishwasher soap and fire it up. If they are nicer or collector chips, brush 'em like they are your teeth.

Re: DIRTY CHIPS!!! how to clean?
and, some info from pokerchips.com
"General care of the chips takes into consideration their composition - CLAY. If soaked in water, clay will dissolve. If subjected to extreme temperatures, clay will tend to either warp or crack. Wiping with a damp towel should not affect the quality of the chips, but a regular dry dusting will delay this wiping process a bit longer. It is also advised that you keep your clay chips as dust free as possible by storing them in something with a cove. If you need to clean any clay chips, it should be done one chip at a time. Use a soft fine brush (toothbrush works well) and a small amount of mild detergent in water. Use the brush to apply a small amount of cleaner to the chip, then dry at once with a soft cloth. " |
