geez i really already should know this
Playing on stars 5/10, 4 handed currently. On my immediate right is my whipping boy, 60/25ish... loose caller, not to aggressive postflop unless he has some sort of draw, then hes betting to the hills... im punishing this guy when I get a chance, but how loose can I afford to get on this guy? Example below...
Hero in mp2 with KJs, villan mentioned is UTG and raises... Only sb and bb to potentially overcall, I folded, but I was really thinking about Raising the KJs....isolating, then ripping into him postflop? Should I, whats your raising range here? thanks cdl I added some humour...a few hands later PokerStars Game #5494942104: Hold'em Limit ($5/$10) - 2006/07/08 - 17:09:32 (ET) Table 'Sumava' 6-max Seat #2 is the button Seat 1: tn1753 ($337.50 in chips) Seat 2: chappyrush ($194.50 in chips) Seat 3: radiofly ($417 in chips) Seat 4: QueenTunaQQ ($130 in chips) Seat 5: thephinisher ($78 in chips) Seat 6: forbearing ($185 in chips) radiofly: posts small blind $2 QueenTunaQQ: posts big blind $5 *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to QueenTunaQQ [Ad Ac] thephinisher: folds forbearing: folds tn1753: folds chappyrush: calls $5 radiofly: raises $5 to $10 QueenTunaQQ: raises $5 to $15 chappyrush: calls $10 radiofly: raises $5 to $20 Betting is capped QueenTunaQQ: calls $5 chappyrush: calls $5 *** FLOP *** [6c 8c 7d] radiofly: bets $5 QueenTunaQQ: raises $5 to $10 chappyrush: calls $10 radiofly: calls $5 *** TURN *** [6c 8c 7d] [9s] radiofly: checks QueenTunaQQ: bets $10 chappyrush: calls $10 radiofly: calls $10 *** RIVER *** [6c 8c 7d 9s] [6h] radiofly: checks QueenTunaQQ: bets $10 chappyrush: folds radiofly: calls $10 *** SHOW DOWN *** QueenTunaQQ: shows [Ad Ac] (two pair, Aces and Sixes) radiofly: shows [As Ah] (two pair, Aces and Sixes) radiofly collected $68.50 from pot QueenTunaQQ collected $68.50 from pot radiofly said, "nh" *** SUMMARY *** Total pot $140 | Rake $3 Board [6c 8c 7d 9s 6h] Seat 1: tn1753 folded before Flop (didn't bet) Seat 2: chappyrush (button) folded on the River Seat 3: radiofly (small blind) showed [As Ah] and won ($68.50) with two pair, Aces and Sixes Seat 4: QueenTunaQQ (big blind) showed [Ad Ac] and won ($68.50) with two pair, Aces and Sixes Seat 5: thephinisher folded before Flop (didn't bet) Seat 6: forbearing folded before Flop (didn't bet) |

Re: geez i really already should know this
I would definitely try to isolate the player you described with KJs. If he's 60/25 he's raising a lot, and if he's as you described him he's probably not adjusting his raising standards when he's UTG.
