Default Bluff raise this river?

Villian is pretty passive. I've won like 80% of the pots. Hes c/r me when he hit top pair and oesd + low FD vs my top two when he was short. Also c/r KKK on K94 flop vs my 44kx hand, we checked down a T 2 turn/river.

If he's passive, he doesn't seem like a very good opponent to bluff raise, because he's more likely to have something, and he should know you won't expect him to bet, so wouldn't try to check-raise this river with a real hand. So no, seems too spewey. Congrats if it worked.

I don't like it either. You're not representing anything and a passive player like this could easily bet less than 1/2 the pot even when he's strong. Considering you need to get a fold 57% of the time just to break even, I don't think it's worth it.

Ya it worked but I regretted it as soon as I hit raise. I knew it was just so hard for him to have a FH here and pretty unlikely he has AKxx that I thought I could move him off a weaker ace at best. He thought for about 20 seconds and mucked. For the whole 20 seconds I just thought how I am repping absolutely nothing.

Not sure what he folded. He was a very tight nitty player though, and I wouldn't be suprised if he mucked a weaker ace here tbh.

I think there are hands besides fh and AK you have to worry about here. You played it pretty odd, especially the checkraise on the river. A passive person may even be inclined to look you up with any ace in the spot.

I'm not worried about a FH here. He bets any two pair + on the flop, as well as AK/AQxx after I check.

Not saying I liked the bet, but it was just an odd hand from a session that worked out.

Its still a tough call with a weak ace in these spots. It would have to be complete air for that ace to hold up imo. And how often to you get check/raise bluffed on the river for under a psb in PLO?

I think you'll be looked up >= 50% of the time. So this is a -ev and unnecessary move.
