From the way it played out, I'd assume that he was just hit and is going to continue to be on the show.
All of this is contingent on whether it's picked back up or not and I have no idea about that. Although, I'd like to see it back for another season or two. |

azk,
I believe the ratings are good so it should be back. I doubt he will die, being shot may help him make the decision about military vs corporate. J |

Really odd way of ending the season, but i assumed that it wasn't a major hit since he wasn't hit in the chest, and he wasn't showing any negative effects.
A question though: This is the first time i've seen the show. Were the other episodes of teh same calibur? It seemed like the dialogue was cliched and uninteresting, and the plot lines akin to a Soap Opera. |

I really like this show. I thought the epp at 9 was MUCH better than the one at 10.
I really like Mahmet, but his (ex?)wife shows up, it's bad times. (she played the head dude's bride in the last epp) |

Looks like CBS is planning to have encore showings every Tuesday starting 5/30/06 @ 9pm EST, but it looks like they are starting with ep2 "Stress"?
IMHO, ep7 "Dedication" was the best episode of the season. A highly accurate representation of low-intensity conflict in Afghanistan, small-team tactics, and what can go wrong during a 'real' operation. Dunno if its OK or not, but here is the linky for the torrent for ep7. MODS please edit out if this is a no-no. "Dedication ep7" The Unit became my current "favorite" show by ep3. |

It's based around a book by Eric Hanley, who supposedly helped for Delta Force (an uber-elite Counter Terrorism force that the Gov. still to this day will not acknowledge the existence of); he's also an advisor for the show. David mamet (writer of Wag the Dog, Glen Garry Glenross, etc.) is the creator of the show.

There were a few cute Mamet references in last night.
Guy hands dude a cup of coffee... "coffee is for closers". It was a mid season show on CBS, Tuesdays at 9. IT's just a festival of badass and there's some hot ass too |
