If you're going to pay Elite money, you might as well get the larger hard drive rather than a different paint job.

Found a steal on a 360 on eBay about a week ago (spent about $260 for a premium with extra controller). Figured if I sold at Christmas I would recoup all the money I spent on it, aka 360 freeroll for 4 months.

This put a $50 hitch in that plan.

I dont understand what Im missing here. Why wouldn't a Premium bought from Ebay not work on X-box live?

Ohhh..Just googled it and saw that some 360's on Ebay have been banned from Live. Wow, that'd suck to buy a refurb one on Ebay thats been banned.

A lot of the "cheap" 360's on ebay are actually modified boxes that allow piracy and have been banned by Microsoft, if the rumors are to be believed.

The Halo version includes HDMI. I'd still probably go elite though at that price line. 20gigs just goes so fast.
