Default $50NL Another line check with AK

Villain 41/13/1 over 123 hands

Is this standard?
Was he trying to tell me something with his turn raise or just trying to bluff me off the pot?

he tries to tell you that your TPTK is no good.

turn is a fold imo, he's loose preflop but pretty passive postflop.
he could call with 68 or 36 pf.

Ace rag seems reasonable imo. Possible A4, A5, or A7. His range here is large...raising more pf could've made your decision easier.

I doubt he's calling a flop bet with 68 or 36...
I still fold this turn, though. Villain's line is strong especially given his passive nature. smells like a set to me

Turns out he had A5 and hit his 2 pair on the turn.
He couldnt have made it any clearer to me if he tried.
However I am getting into the habit of assuming a big bet means TPwk at these stakes, ehen often it isn't.

Its a big leak I am trying to plug, by making sure I 'listen' to what villain is telling me with his bets.

And yes I got abuse for being a river rat
