go into the express line (15 and under items) with maybe 10 items during peak hours of grocery shopping where every line is long. i'm about midway through the line when a 60 year old woman behind me tells me she thinks there's more than 15 items in my handcart. i think she's joking and laugh it off. she then taps me on the shoulder and with a completely straight face asks if she can count the number of items in my bin so that i can stay in the line. i had absolutely no idea what to say to this so i stifle my laugh and move forward in the line. she insists but eventually gives up. surprised she didn't call the manager. i hate old people.
