Remedial Q about deposit methods for the big 5 US-friendly sites...
I know this Q has been covered at length, but being a foreigner, i've largely ignored the monster threads about the best ways for Americans to get $ onto the sites that remain open to US players.
My American friend, though, just asked me the Q, and i was hoping that someone might summarize for me in rapid-fire fashion the consensus about the most effective ways to get $ onto accounts at these sites: Stars FTP Bodog UB Absolute P.S. +EV for you to help me/him out here >> he's a gigantic donkey. |

Re: Remedial Q about deposit methods for the big 5 US-friendly sites...
this is a good question and has been discussed at lenght in the monster threads. sadly, i cannot keep track of all the sites and the various deposit methods. i think i need a spreedsheet for the sites and deposit/withdrawal, fees, timeframe, etc.

[/ QUOTE ] ePassporte is the ideal choice IMO at Stars, Full Tilt, UB and Absolute. However, ePassporte does take awhile to set up and I'm sure your fishy friend doesn't want to wait 3+ weeks for the whole thing to get set up. From there, your friend should try his credit cards. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. Some banks may lock your card or not let the transfer go through, but they will allow the transfer to go through after you authorize it (my Wells Fargo debit card worked this way). If your credit card doesn't work, you may want to try a prepaid Visa card (I believe you can get them at places such as Walmart and Walgreens), or get a gift card online from a place like giftcards.com or gift2go. There seems to be a fairly high success rate with these cards. In addition, each site has their own options: Stars- Prepaid Visa, Western Union, Moneygram FTP- MyWebATM Bodog- Nucharge, Western Union UB- Western Union, Moneygram Absolute- Western Union |
