Honestly, i think it will do good. Ive been doing some research on the company and it seems they are making moves. They signed a contract with Harrah's and are distributing there tables to bar's and restaurants. However, i am really new to investing and dont know the in's and out's... which is why i am asking your opinion.

Personally, I think the ship has sailed. The tables were a novel concept and there are a few others besides PTEK producing them. None have been able to gain any momentum.

It's been some time since I read about the costs of a table, but the fees to a casino were very high. I think the problem stems from the fact that there's a such a significant upfront investment on the casinos part to even determine if the tables will be accepted by thier players.

personally, I'm not investing in a company that's near its target and bleeding money.

I'll give the 'standard' answer which I also believe to be correct in this instance. Don't buy individual stocks unless you have a really good reason to. Just thinking that something seems like a good idea is not a good reason. From reading this thread I would say that you do not have a good reason and therefore should not buy the stock.

Well, in that case... What stocks should I buy and what are your "good" reasons to buy them?

Im not trying to be funny... Im really intersted in investing and just dont know where to start. I was going to invest in PTEK because I thought the idea of a dealer-less machine will catch on in casinos in the near future. < So that was my reason.. (somehow i now think that wasnt a "good" reason)
