I'm usually betting the flop, a king will call, and if neither of them have a king or better, it's hard to extract that many chips in any case. Guess some of the same goes for the river-hard to get any money if he doesn't have a king, but a smaller pair will perhaps call a smaller bet? |

Agree with Rockstar. I think I make it maybe 200-300 to try to sell it on the river.
Also, a nitpick: QQ is not the nuts here. KK is the nuts, KQ is a better boat. But you've definitely got the best hand here, so kinda moot. |

Start building the pot on the flop. Tons of hand are going to call you there.

After reading Rex's post, I realized we had position (apparently I can't read). I like a flop bet too, maybe 1/3-1/2 pot.
