AJs utg facing BTN reraise
stats are unknown as i just was moved to the table. the stacks at the table were all pretty short compared to the blinds and the average of the rest of the tournament.

Re: AJs utg facing BTN reraise
I'd open shove preflop and not think too much about it. as played, looks like a fold.

Re: AJs utg facing BTN reraise
shove preflop, as played you don't have any FE by shoving, but your odds are too good to fold imo. I'd have a look at the flop and get it in with a flush-draw or on any ace.

Re: AJs utg facing BTN reraise
here's the complete hand. obviously it was a fluke that he actually had aces here. the reason i didn't open push is because my M was still 8.73 pre-flop and i thought that i could just raise and get away from the hand if i didnt hit the flop and still have an M of 7. i don't like playing AJ OOP. I usually don't start open pushing till i get below 6-5.

the reason i didn't open push is because my M was still 8.73 [/ QUOTE ] Not for nothing, dude...but that's exactly when you want to shove these hands! Please never open raise at ~8M with the plan to fold. -ZEN |
