i may be inclined to check since you have no real reads vs villain but i think betting and checking are both fine tho ....

check. pairing the board makes him more likely to call with middle pairs or A5.

If you are going to lead this flop, why not just raise PF and try to take it down then. The flop is almost never going to help your hand, and if gives villains a chance to help theirs. As played, i c/f flop, and now i would c/f turn.
