ugh nasty. As played I would fold. I'm not sure if I'd do anything differently, it's a spot I've rarely seen

Re: 1/2: QQ vs. limp/raise of a very tight player
Why not muck it preflop if you're going to c/f when you hit the overpair? - not that I think c/fing this flop is wrong, it's a nice play imo because he's basically telling you what he has. But even if you stack him every single time if you spike a Q it's still not incredibly profitable. If you're really calling just for set value here preflop it doesn't seem a good call. What if the flop brings no paintcards - like 3 5 9 rainbow - are you still c/fing - what I'm asking is if you think it's close enough for the possibility of JJ swings it to a fold. I'd like to know what more experienced players think of considering a pf fold against this super-nit. Tough hand.

Re: 1/2: QQ vs. limp/raise of a very tight player
of course, i did not call for set value only. the J is a bad card for me in two ways. first, JJ beats me, that's obvious. but second, it completely eliminates the possibility of getting called by a weaker pocket pair if I c/r.

So you're going for the crai on a ragged flop. But is this guy really calling it with JJ or less? Maybe we're giving him too much credit - do you have any specific reads other than preflop stats? Although I suppose it's difficult when he plays a hand an hour.
