100NL KK on monotone flop
SB is running 41/7 and we've battled fairly often. He loves calling my PFR and seems to have a distinct pattern on the flop. I haven't shown down with him when he c/r my c-bet on the flop but anytime he donkbets and I raise his cards fly into the muck. So I figure his stronger hands merit the c/r and he tries to steal with the donkbet. Definitely isn't a thinking player especially with those stats. Although its never been a multiway pot when this happens. UTG sucks running like 43/23 always min raising preflop. I figure he's on a club draw. I'm getting almost 3-1 on the river but I feel like that card is only marginally better than a club.

Re: 100NL KK on monotone flop
He's probably got the Ace of clubs. At 41/7, a really sick A4o or A5o is also a definite possibility (maybe even without the club). There's very little you're beating, and less still that doesn't have plenty of outs.
However, you *are* getting very nearly 4 to 1, so that makes it close. It's still a "curse/fold" situation IMO. |

Crappy spot. As played I think you have to fold. Does anyone think that a smaller raise on the flop say to 32 or 36 total, accomplishes the same thing?

Yeah the sizing of the flop raise and whether to raise or not is more of a concern to me than this call or fold on the turn.

You've invested 5bb, you have an okay hand for this board, but not a big hand. Why do you want to create a big pot without a big hand against players who have really wide ranges here? |

Re: 100NL KK on monotone flop
It didn't need to be that large unfortunately hindsight is 20/20. I figured UTG for a draw and SB had been folding to my aggression when he donk bet. I guess a raise to 30 would suffice just as well, so i guess more of a question here is should i even bother raising
