$1K Foxwoods Satellite
$1K 10 handed Satellitte.
Assume table of drooling monkeys who earned their way in vis a vis other smaller satellites. $2K Starting Chips $25-$50 blinds, up every 20 mins. First Hand at Table: Fold to me on button I raise AQ to $150, SB moves all in. I fold and he shows JJ. Second Hand at Table: HJ raises to $150, I re-raise to $400 with KK, Button moves all-in, HJ moves in. HJ is the only player I have played with before. He seems reasonable. Understanding pre-flop raising standards etc. Doesnt open limp etc. Assume I feel I have a decent advantage over the table. Anyone find a fold here? |

Re: $1K Foxwoods Satellite
Nowhere near close to a fold, ever, with KK there.

Re: $1K Foxwoods Satellite
Not unless you have a stare into his soul read, a general sense he might be average is not enough. He's probably on TT+ and AK. Even with your two kings, there are 8 ways for him to have AK and only 6 ways to have AA. Plus his range definitely includes QQ and maybe JJ and TT. Plus the retard fish dead money, plus you are getting odds because you reraised to 400.
never ever ever ever fold not even remotely close |

He is, however, putting in a 4th raise. I doubt strongly that this is JJ or worse.

[/ QUOTE ] Even allowing that (sometimes people give too much credit to live players, but i digress), there are still 14 combos of QQ and AK he could have, and only 6 of AA, plus dumb fish money, plus pot odds. easy call. |
