I've fairly active at this table, catching some cards and maybe running something like 26/24/5. UTG is a decent somewhat laggy reg. I've squeezed him at least once and 4-bet him earlier this session in bvb. BB is not very good obviously.
UTG = 28/22/5 (lots of hands) BB = 50/9/1.7 (120 hands) SB: $142.00 BB: $351.50 UTG: $642.00 CO: $419.00 Hero (BTN): $401.00 Preflop: Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 Players) UTG raises to $14.00, CO calls $14.00, Hero raises to $62.00, SB folds, BB calls $58.00, UTG raises all-in to $642.00, CO folds, Hero??? BB's call is a bit scary obviously, and for UTG to shove over that, I'm thinking he has to have something pretty solid too. Is calling here +EV? |

yes i think so
if im UTG i think im shoving a whole lot of stuff depending on what i percieve to be BB cold calling range bc im sure that you have a pretty light 3betting range my stats are similar to UTG (a little tighter) and i think i would shove JJ+ and AKo+ and sometimes AQ for the dead money in there... i dont have stove with me but im thinking your good against that range relative to the pot... |

Range for villains when I fist pump call? I'm just curious for stove analysis...

Call. Curse if one of them has AA/KK.

well we're just getting odds to call vs utg's JJ+,AK range (too narrow range maybe?). I think BB still being in the hand is a bad thing for us so pushes it to a fold (assuming BB only continues w/KK+ and would cold call the 3bet w/KK+)

Okay, playing with some ranges, it looks like we can probably make a +EV call IF we can expect that BB folds.
If BB stays in the hand, even if UTG's range includes AQ, I can't get stove to give hero enough equity to call (although it gets close). |

Call.
1)UTG is laggy 2)You are laggy but this time you have it 3)You have squeezed him and 4bet him already... huge. 4) UTG knows BB is poor so shoving over him doesn't necessarily mean his hand is strong but it does give him a bigger incentive to shove with more dead money in the pot and the possibility that you're squeezing. |
