i posted this in software, but got limited response....
i know this is the wrong forum, but i posted this question on the software forum and only got 2 replies, one of which related to 6max, not FR, so i thought I'd post it again here.
Does any1 have a good set of rules for the auto-rate process in PT? I used a set from the PT guide, but i think they may be a little broad, particularly in classifying solid TAGs thanks |

I think I remember 1P0kerboy sharing his once. Believe it was in the main thread, probably May or so. You should be able to do a search to find it...

Brim...
What are your goals with auto-rate? I ask this because I didn't start to REALLY improve until I removed the little icon from my desktop. |

are you talking about icons, like the cannonball and stuff like that?
it's probably not worth it to use it. i prefer to use the numbers, i think i adjust better. i use the drop down menu from pahud to look at river aggression, steal %, etc. those are more important than blindly terming people loose cannons or rocks. |

Re: i posted this in software, but got limited response....
i use the autorate to create notes on the players which i then export to pstars. The notes appear like this in pstars:
{{TOT HANDS: 106 - DESC: Good Player (Solid TAG) VP$IP: 9 - PFR: 7.55 - AF-TOT: oo WSD: 13 - W$SD: 100 WF-F: 4 - WF-T: 2 - WF-R: 0}} the "description" is derived from the categories created by the rules. I use the numbers when im playing, but when i am selecting tables i like to be able to quickly open player notes and see TAG, LAG, fish, etc in the general description |
