25NL QQ vs shortie and superdonk

I have UTG at 70/5/1 over 100 hands. He's busted me once before, flopping the ass-end of a 4-5-6 flop when I had 66, and I've seen him go to SD at least twice with A-crap. saw flop|saw showdown BB ($13.15) UTG ($19.35) MP ($23.35) CO ($2.20) Button ($6.25) Hero ($24.75) Preflop: Hero is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. UTG calls $0.25, 1 fold, CO raises to $2.2, 1 fold, Hero raises to $6, 1 fold, UTG calls $5.75. I reraise preflop to isolate shortie, but once genius calls, I'm planning on commiting on a safe flop and feeling good about it regardless. Flop: ($14.45) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero checks, UTG bets $13.35 (All-In), Hero folds. Once the ace is on the board, I check and fold to his shove. He shows A2s and takes the pot down. (Shortie left table) Turn: ($14.45) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in) River: ($14.45) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in) My question is about the preflop reraise. Do you just call here and try to lure the drooler in, or do you raise figuring you're a good fave? Is my commitment thought right? |

Re: 25NL QQ vs shortie and superdonk
I re-raise but I don't know if I re-raise THAT much. I raise it to about $3.00. If you get the idiot to call then that's fine.
Flop; I don't put a lot of stock in the AF with only 100 hands but I think you can read into what you have is that the idiot is not a maniac. Probably more of a calling station and plays TP any kicker Aggro. Because of this I fold to the shove and don't think twice. |

Re: 25NL QQ vs shortie and superdonk
Shortie raised AI, so I think the minimum I could raise there is $4. If he'd made a normal raise, I think I'd reraise there, also, (but probably for 3ish)

I put it allin preflop to isolate. [/ QUOTE ] Are you not wanting to see a flop against the idiot? Personally I don't care either way so I give him the reasonable choice. |
