its pretty obvious what he has. but is he gonna fold?
villain n me have history. we just get into mad 3bet wars sometimes. and shove over cbet wars. his vpip/pfr is only like 17/12...but hes 3betting range is huge vs me for some reason. he must like playing pots with me or something.
i think most of his 3bet bluff range preflop normally cbets this flop since its pretty nice flop to cbet. the fact that he checks makes me believe he has a marginal type hand that he wants to showdown. When he checks the turn again, im pretty sure he has a decent pair like JJ-KK. But he has to realise that hes induced the bluff on the turn/river...so is he going to call down anyway? even two barrels? do you prefer betting flop when he checks then shoving turn if he checks to you again? or do you prefer seeing if he checks twice and then make two barrels? or are they both blatent bluffs? if you are villain what do you do with JJ-KK here? [/ QUOTE ] i instacall because if villian knows that you are a solid player (preflop) you won't have an ace very often here |

Re: its pretty obvious what he has. but is he gonna fold?
first off edit your hand out of the results too.
second, your line of calling a raise pre then calling the reraise is pretty suspect. i dont know what aces you're doing this with, prolly not many id imagine. the board makes it hard for you to have anything besides 66 b/c i dont think too many aces are in your range. if i'm him though, i would be folding the river even though your line doesnt make much sense, b/c given the time constraint i wouldnt be able to figure out youre fos. |

Re: its pretty obvious what he has. but is he gonna fold?
pf representation != post flop representation
Any reasonably good opponent should be able to figure that out and you should get value out of AK nicely. that said, lots of bad tags will never look at your whole story and call you down here with JJ-KK so I really don't mind the stab. |

Re: its pretty obvious what he has. but is he gonna fold?
given the turn and river cards KK-JJ and AK are pretty much the same hand here
