Default buying used 20.1 Dell monitors bad idea?

I think the retail price of the 2007 FP and 2001FP is around 469 dollars in the dell website. I see you can buy it for about 350 total on ebay brand new. I also see refurbished and used ones that probably cost a little less say in the 275 range.

Is saving 75 dollars not worth it if you can get it new? Like if it was 220 dollars used, i would certainly get it used but at what price you say it is worth it?

I am certainly not buying any samsung 204 because of the dead pixel problem= lot of ppl encounter.

thanks

LCD monitors dim a bit with time, and they don't last forever. I think the brighter images from new monitors are worth $75. It's up to you, though.
