US Poker League, called a bunch of \"clueless clowns\"
Gambling911, the epitome of professionalism, has an article ridiculing the US Poker League organizers as a bunch of "clueless clowns":
"Whatever the excuse, the whole sorry episode shows that the people who run the USPL are really a bunch of clueless clowns. And despite the big-name poker players they’ve convinced to join the USPL, when clowns get together, what usually results is a circus." What is the status of this rather innovative approach to poker ? What big-name poker players who "joined" are going to back out ? (Will it have the success of professional team tennis, like the Philadelphia Freedom ? Will it hold the television on online fandom appeal of the World Dominos Championships formerly shown on ESPN8, "The Ocho") |
