I would check behind. MP2's passive postflop read suggests you're in trouble when he caps the flop. Check and hope he overplayed QJ or JT and that he doesn't have J9.

I raise preflop, partly for value, but mostly to try and shut out the blinds.

As played check beind on river.
I might find a fold on this turn after MP2 caps. |

I would check behind on the river. The way the hand is played is interesting. From capping it on the flop to checking the river. Hard to tell where your at.
The only thing I would do different would be to raise preflop to try to isolate the two limper's, however, in this case it didn't actually matter. Hopefully he overplayed a Weaker J and does not have J9s. |

preflop, I surely raise this hand. I see no value here in limping just because you run into situations just like the one here.
flop, well 3 bet or fold here right? As I have top pair but so does someone else and I don't know if I outkick them, although I probably do. Ironically if K came as my pair here and this action occurred in front I would probably have to think of folding since the J is a much weaker kicker here. If I raised preflop I would not be in this position too much. with the flush draw out there and not having any clubs a 3 bet makes the most sense and I hope I get a good turn card. Turn, MP2 still believes he beats me here, 7 likely doesn't help him so its a call. River, it sucks, no way I am getting him to fold with a bluff raise here...I check. |

MP1 might have slowplayed a flush on the river because of MP2's aggressive postflop play.

we're pretty much toast after MP2 caps the flop especially when you say he is LAP, and I can fold the turn.

Nobody is thinking of J5?

Even if he has J5 the pair of 7s counterfeits his bottom pair. I would deffinately play this passively after the flop, I believe this is one of those WA/WB scenarios. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
