I\'m a station: Played a 128BB pot w/ ace high
So, I know this is high variance and possibly marginal at best.
This villain had normal-ish stats (20/10 or something) but was calling me in position far far far more frequently than anyone else at the table. I beat him handily HU the day before, so I think maybe he just had it out for me or something. Villain had floated me at least 8-10 times this session. When I checked the turn he bet it several times, and I always folded. I had seen him pot control and check the turn w/ second pair and top pair type hands too. On the river his range is completely polarized btwn 9x, 33-22, or total air. Only thing that is kinda scary is him bluffing w/ like 44 or something (I really think he checks the turn w/ most of his 88-44 hands though). I know I can win at poker and never make a play like this. But....what do you think of all this? if he cant value bet thin (i.e. KJdd or something) then this can't be that bad.

I think it's very very marginal. But it's good for your image and b/c of that a call is fine.

Only because of the image thingy that might be ok.Otherwise i think it's pretty terrible.
What makes you think he doesn't have 99+? |

Re: I\'m a station: Played a 128BB pot w/ ace high
I'd rather play back at him floating you by double barreling some other turns, stackadonking draws+good hands and check-folding flops instead of investing a cbet.
I don't think this is that bad, but it's very much a reverse implied odds situation and he could easily be bluffing with better. |

Re: I\'m a station: Played a 128BB pot w/ ace high
i like it yo. think it's consensus. as you say, he's floaty, his range is ridiculously polarized, and bluffing with better hands really unlikely how it was played. results? (MP with K high FTL?)
