I was having a conversation about this last night with a friend of mine. We were trying to decide if what is attractive in a man to a gay man is the same as what is attractive in a man to a woman. Phrased another way, is being attractive to women a good barometer for being attractive to a gay man and vice versa?

my limited opinion is maybe yes as women love the writing of sex and the city, citing how realistic it is for women living in a metropolitan city yet the writers were gay men

definitely not.
edit: women generally have a much more emotional side to attraction than gay men. |

The only people who can realisticly respond to this question are either women or gay men. As I'm pretty certain that I fit into neither of these catagories, I abstain.
