NL10 in the homegame, how do you guys add on?
So this is how it goes for us:
We all lay down 10 euros each and it goes into the pot. We all get chips worth 10 euros. When we end the game we get payed out according to our chips (ldo) When someone is busto, he pays another 10, gets more chips. My problem:I like to be at the max buy-in constantly, but how is this the easiest way to do in a homegame? Online its just add-on , boom, done. How do other people here pay the chips in the homegames? |

really doesn't happen that way live.
while in theory it can be done, it just slows down the home game and generally isn't recommended. |

I would say if you get to a half stack or below it would be ok to rebuy to the max.

How about buying for 20, putting 10 on the table, 10 in your pocket and add-on to 10 when I'm below 10?

Re: NL10 in the homegame, how do you guys add on?
Home games are not the same as casino games are not the same as online.
Different rules, different etiquette, different play, different buyin methods. I also like to have as many chips as possible, but you can't top off constantly. If you take a big beat and are down to a couple euros, see if you can top off or just buy a full buyin. Or if it's been a lot of consistent beats and you're down to five, see if you can get five more. Absolutely do not try to get to exactly ten every time you're a little low. Whatever you gain in the value of having as much as possible you lose in your table image. It's +EV not to let people at your home game know how serious you are. Instead, become comfortable playing the short stack. Use it while you experiment with loosening up your game. Benefit is if you bust out, you can buy in for full without any problems. You have an edge here, right? After a bit of the wild crazy loose short stack period at the beginning, a lot of those chips on the table will come back to you, and you won't have to worry about topping off for the rest of the night. |

About the image: I don't have to worry about that, I played a couple of days like a complete maniac and 3 months later they still think I'm bluffing every hand i own! |

Re: NL10 in the homegame, how do you guys add on?
seriously, what do you top-off your stack every time u loose a pot?
Thats rediculous. Wait till you go butso till you reload or make a rule that if youre under 12 or something you can reload 10 more. But initial buy in is 10. Really not an issue IMHO |
