UB Withdrawal B.S, is this allowed?
I wanted my money out of Fulltilt and into my Bank account in the UK. So I move my dollars to UB and request a check, this is what I get. When did they introduce this Bullsh*t into the terms and conditions? I have to pay $8 for processing too, is that not enough?! I've over 50k hands there, a pile of rake paid and they treat me like a criminal.
---------------------- Dear Sir/Madam, Please be advised that your withdrawal has been subject to a random security verification. We have noticed that you are requesting a withdrawal and this amount is not related to game-play. Upon verification of your account, you have deposited then withdrew immediately without playing. In order to minimize fraudulent activity, please provide us with an explanation of the circumstances of this activity so we may proceed with your withdrawal request. Your withdrawal has been cancelled until we receive your reply. Do not hesitate to contact us if you require further assistance or additional information. Best regards, ----------------------------- My reply: I'm withdrawing because I've had enough of poker. The reason I have deposited then withdrawn without playing is that I had my money at fulltilt then moved it to neteller then UB so that I can make use of your cheques that are cashed in pound sterling, which neteller do not do. As I said, i didn't play after depositing because I'm finished with the game. ------------------- UB: Thank you for getting back to us with an explanation. Although I completely understand your position, we are only able (ed: unable) to withdraw your funds via your depositing method without sufficient play. Your recent request via courier check has been cancelled. Please advise if you would like to us to proceed in withdrawing the funds to your NETeller account and I will submit and process it manually once I receive your reply. We are terribly sorry for all inconveniences this may cause. Please let us know if you require further assistance. ----------- Me: How many hands do I have to play? ----------- UB Scum: Thank you for getting back to us. There is no specific number of hands to play in order to be eligible for withdrawal after making a deposit. We simply ask that you use the funds for gameplay as you normally would and trust that you will act in good faith. ----------------------- |

Re: UB Withdrawal B.S, is this allowed?
So, you expect U B to be a money changer. At least you told the truth about it. Good luck in getting your money anythime soon. You ask "is this allowed"---They can do pretty much whatever they want!

Re: UB Withdrawal B.S, is this allowed?
I think that you are confusing UB with UBS! One is a poker site and the other is a bank.
Why should they operate as your personal money launderer? |

Well stated .... poker sites are NOT money transfer services or banks
Very well put..... Sites earn money from providing a poker service. They are not really in the currency swap business. Complain to FTP or Neteller, not to UB.
Underlying issue, why the run around ? Why not withdraw from Neteller ? Is he really saying he expects UB to save him some conversion fee charged by FTP or Neteller to get payment in GBP ? |

Re: UB Withdrawal B.S, is this allowed?
All the cheques I've had from my USD Neteller account have been in Stirling, and drawn on a UK bank.
