Re: Stars mil 99 facing huge overbet
mp3 is sitting with 60k and raises 20k pre and youve got 30k , standard fold.
in the end youve got 33bbs. no need to really take this action with 99s pre with no folding equity. |

Re: Stars mil 99 facing huge overbet
JJ is probably my minimum calling hand in this spot, because I think this is rarely AA/KK.

Re: Stars mil 99 facing huge overbet
i posted the other day about a guy that was making huge overbets. the third one he did he got called by ATo and showed KK. I think this is usually AK, KK, AA. maybe QQ. I wouldn't call w/o QQ or +

Re: Stars mil 99 facing huge overbet
i don't think that this hand is a monster...i think it's a hand that MP3 doesnt want to play post flop.
likely, i'd say, it's AQ/AK or a pair like 77-QQ. i do not have very much experience in HS MTTs, although i have played a few of APs biggest tournies and played yesterdays sunday million, but i def think that you are ahead of this range, but only slightly and i think it's better to hold on to your chips and wait for a more effective spot to get them in. -eroc |
