e-commerce service providers

does anyone have any experience with ecommerce service providers like miva.com, litecommerce.com, e-junkie.com, oscommerce.com ect? any thoughts on the benefits of using one of these off the shelf solutions vs rolling my own using google checkout/amazon's new payment service?
