need help with creating roommate wanted ad
thinking of getting a roommate (paying $2k for 2BR in metro ny isn't so much fun anymore; don't want to move)
but here's the thing: i want an asian female roommate, because, from my experience with them, they would be ideal roommates (quiet, out of my way, etc). but how do i create an ad that attracts this type without being overtly racist/sexist in the ad? are there buzz words or ways to decorate apartment that would attract them? |

Re: need help with creating roommate wanted ad
Say that there's a tentacle monster in the kitchen. That'll bring them in afaik.
If there's a university near you that has a lot of Asians, try putting an ad in the school's student paper/ apartment listings website/ whatever. |

Re: need help with creating roommate wanted ad
why not just say you are looking for a quiet roommate who will keep to themselves and when you are interviewing just pick the asian girl? No need to say it in the ad.
