live 3/6, J9s UTG, betting the river #1
Hadn't been playing long, but seemed like a standard loose passive table, felt comfortable limping in early position with J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Sure enough, 6 players go to the flop.
Flop [5.3 SB]: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero bets, 2 folds, MP raises, folded back to Hero, who 3-bets, MP calls. Turn [5.6 BB]: K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero bets, MP calls. River [7.6 BB]: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Hero checks... Is this a super-easy value bet? I often find myself checking this out of position, thinking that it looks like I'm up against a flush draw that might be more likely to bet than to call, not to mention the fact that my kicker isn't all that hot. |

Bet. Whatever he has he isn't raising you anymore so the same goes in whether you're ahead or behind, except you'll miss bets the times he turns over T9 and T8.
I don't see many people betting missed draws in these games. **Especially loose passive games. Most people wouldn't dare raise a draw on the flop in these games. |

Re: live 3/6, J9s UTG, betting the river #1
I'm putting him on A9, Q9-94, maybe even 92, flush draw with overs, or flush draw with a 3. I guess possibly 88-44 or something like that. I need to bet more rivers at this limit...
