I probably bet closer to full pot on turn, making the pot over $130 with less than $40 stacks and shove any river.
As played, I still shove. |

FWIW, I'm never folding this. How often does a marginal hand rep the flush on the river?

I like a bigger turn bet, and it makes getting it on the river a much easier decision.

FWIW, I'm never folding this. How often does a marginal hand rep the flush on the river? [/ QUOTE ] Doesn't really matter IMO. It's only a half-pot bet and they're probably calling a push anyway. Another reason why a bigger turn bet is better with these stack sizes. Makes it that much easier for the marginal hands to call. Betting $10 more turn a 1/2 PSB on river into a 1/3 PSB. AT isn't folding for a 1/3 PSB on river (not that he's folding a 1/2 PSB most of the time anyway). |

I like a bigger turn bet [/ QUOTE ] What range calls a bigger bet? I want to rep AK, not an overpair. |

[/ QUOTE ] Maybe I didn't word it well. I doubt most 100NL players will fold AT on the river, but I'm sure some will. Betting just $5-10 more on turn pretty much commits them to the pot. Either way, hands that have stuck with you for this long aren't likely to fold to anything on the river, so shoving seems pretty straight forward. You're debating whether checking is better I presume? Why? Marginal hands that would call an all-in will most likely check behind. |
