Question About Value of Adsense Clicks
So all I know about the value of specific Adsense clicks is that its probably higher for specific ads for high priced items. Is there any way to know in more detail than that? Can I tell how much I got from clicks on specific ads on my site? Is there a web site anywhere that lists click value for different Adsense advertisers?

Re: Question About Value of Adsense Clicks
Setup channels on your adsense account to track your payout.
You can get estimated CPC for keywords in adwords but not the pay per click in adsense. For 1 it depends a lot on your site and googles "rating" of it(look up smartpricing for more details on this). Also because google doesn't say what percentage of the payment from an advertiser they pay to publishers. |

Re: Question About Value of Adsense Clicks
Depends hugely on the site.
I have arbi sites with 80-90% clickthrough and others with 40-50%. I also have non-arbi sites with like >3% click through which I consider good for them(Though in most cases I avoid adsense for these). It really depends on the type of site, and the type of traffic. |

Re: Question About Value of Adsense Clicks
yeah 80% CTR is actually absurd. I would LOVE to see that site too if you could PM me.
I've got a site that is just a content-based site with 15-20% CTR and I consider that VERY good. Generally over 10% is doing fantastic, and many people consider it difficult to maintain. less than 1-2% and you should reconsider your ad placement/integration |

Re: Question About Value of Adsense Clicks
It's just a standard arbi site. Not giving away the niche sorry but I will say it's in womens fashion.
80% isn't absurd when your site is designed and marketed specifically for producing clicks. Note that I never said I get that on content sites. |

Re: Question About Value of Adsense Clicks
80%!!!!!!!! I would be scared that I would get banned if my CTR was that high. I guess if you are not breaking any rules then you dont have to worry no matter what the CTR is. I know nothing about Arbi sites anyone know any good links where I can read about them.

Re: Question About Value of Adsense Clicks
www.wickedfire.com is a forum with a lot of talk about arbitage.
It's pretty simple. Pick a niche topic. Create a small site with that keyword heavily focused in the content(no outbound links). Put up an adsense ad on it and start buying long tail keywords at other sites(7search,msn,yahoo). Play around with your layout a lot though, split testing is handy to see what works best for what niche. Watch for smartpricing. If you start seeing your clicks paying like 1-5 cents odds are you've been smart priced and it's time to switch it up a bit. Any specific questions other than that let me know. |
