basic : overplaying trips
Another situation where I lose a lot : it seems I overplay trips with A or K kicker when 2 of the same rank are on board. An example from .5/1 6 max:
No specific read on the villain. We both have approximately 100. Full Tilt Poker Pot Limit Omaha Ring game Blinds: $0.50/$1 4 players Converter Pre-flop: (4 players) Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG raises to $4.5, Button calls, Hero calls, BB calls. Flop: 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($18, 4 players) Hero checks, BB checks, UTG checks, Button checks. Turn: 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($18, 4 players) Hero bets $9, BB raises to $45, 2 folds, I have trouble folding here. Under what conditions you push here ? Is the half bet on turn a very bad idea ? ++ |

Re: basic : overplaying trips
player reads and stack sizes are imperative here. FWIW, why not pot flop? Would have made that turn a no brainer.
