Re: Hows my line PLO 50
Assuming unknown opponent.
Flop: Raise. You've top pair and nice straight draw. Turn: Ok. Call and hope to fill up on river. River: Fold or call. Opponent propably has FH, but there is small change that he is bluffing or had similar draw as you. Wihtout any read I propably fold. |

Re: Hows my line PLO 50
Yep villian in this particular hand had 9's over J's. But i know this is not pertaining to this hand only but these situations. I did call the river as he was short stacked and i was kinda pot committed. I guess if i dont fill up on river i would more then likely fold.

Re: Hows my line PLO 50
I'd probably play the hand the same way and expect to lose most of the time. At PL50, the lead pot, pot line is almost always a strong hand 99, 22, or J9. I'd end up playing it like you did hoping the opponent was a spaztard or whatever. The times you suckout on those hands or he has some donkey crap makes it the right play.

Re: Hows my line PLO 50
Cheapest way to get out of this hand is to raise flop and and fold to pot sized reraise. If he doesn't reraise, but fires blank turn you might also find a fold. Of course if you assume that opponent has naked set without redraws you might still want to go all-in on flop, because you've 17 straigth outs (11 to nuts).

Re: Hows my line PLO 50
I think you played it standard. Some will argue you should raise the flop. I think its best to mix up your play- call or raise are both ok. I'd raise the turn, but with a set of 9's this guy is going nowhere. On the river, your probably pot commited to call even tho your losing more often than winning.
