In general I am more sympathetic than average to the truly unlucky. But fiercly reverse course if I think their plight is their own doing. I understand that some will argue that many of those I put in the second category did not have the control of their life that I think they do. But I don't buy it. For instance anyone who is doing poorly while admitting they have never even tried to learn basic probability or logic goes almost automatically into the category of those that don't deserve our help, in my book. In spite of that I think the test scores me slightly liberal. I have a feeling that very few people would answer the questions on the test extremely siimilar to me. But I could be wrong. Take the test everybody.
