Default rakeback full tilt + leaderboard bonuses

i am getting rakeback at full tilt. i am considering making a run at the leaderboard for tourneys. if i actually make it, will my prize be deducted from mgr? i know deposit bonuses are deducted, but i figured their special rewards might be treated differently. if so, what happens if i actually create neg. rake after deposit + leaderboard bonuses are added? i am trying to figure out if i should spend more time on tourneys or cash games, so any help is appreciated.

would i owe money to my affiliate? do the affiliates just get nothing for me that month, or actually get charged my rake debt?

Everything's deducated at Full Tilt. If you end up negative for the month then you just get nothing and your MGR is reset to 0 the next month. At least this is how it was for me. It may depend on your affiliate?

It really depends on your affiliate and how they have their system set up. If they offer cashouts before they actually receive your rakeback then they could actually lose money on you in a month(if you withdrawal). How they go about handling it(resetting your MGR or keeping it negative for you to payoff) depends on the situation along with how they view you as a client.
