Default Re: Big 3-handed pot in micro limits

I would call in BB with this hand preflop. You are in horrible situation with 25% of stack in. With Aces you dont want more than 10% or less that 35% of your stack in preflop unless they are strong aces and you get a wide variety of hands in with that range.

Before you 4-bet preflop ask yourself, what do you want to accomplish with your raise? You should have known you would be in an awkward situation postflop with AAXX.

While it is true that the OP is in an awkward situation, it is not THAT bad to 4-bet preflop in this situation. The pot is $15, the SB has only ~$5 left and you have about one pot sized bet left.

As played, I am inclined to bet pot on the flop to make the draws pay. You may be behind, but you still probably have a lot of equity. If UTG is a decent player, he may not call with a flush draw since he won't have the nut draw.

Just calling the 3-bet preflop is also fine. If you just call the 3-bet, maybe UTG will 4 bet and you can come over the top. You can also check raise an A or a wheel on the flop.

Chucky, would you 4-bet with AAXX on the button with similar stacks?
