Default Re: nl10: two pair facing big river bet

Fold preflop. SCs aren't very good hands that far OOP. Certainly don't open limp with them.

Fold flop. All you have is middle pair no kicker with a backdoor straight draw; there's no reason to call this PSB. Villain is unlikely to be bluffing into like a million players on the flop.

On the turn, either just call and try to hit your combo draw or raise bigger and try to get fold equity. I'm not sure what your small raise is trying to accomplish.

River is rough because his range is really wide. His weak bet on the turn then flatcall of your small raise made me think that he might have been drawing, and if so the 5 did not help him (besides giving him a pair, which doesn't matter). He can have junky 2-pair hands like 86 and A8 that beat you, or 63 which you beat. Obviously you're behind against any sets he may have. I think getting over 2:1 he's bluffing a whiffed draw enough to call, but I could be totally wrong here.

edit: Oops, didn't realize that the 5 made a straight for 97. That might change things a bit.
